This centre enables visitors to observe the daily life of the Iberian lynxes living in the Centro de Cría en Cautividad de Acebuche, the Acebuche captive breeding centre. Inside there is a display focussing on the importance of this wetland area for the conservation of a large number of migratory birds. The exhibition also explains how the landscape changes from season to season.
The Doñana Nature Area constitutes a mosaic of environments which the El Acebuche centre attempts to recreate in its interpretative exhibition: beaches, marshes, woodland, sand dunes and the transitional shoreline ecosystem. The anthropological aspect is also covered by the inclusion of activities traditionally carried out by Man in these environments. Another of the centre’s attractions is unquestionably the unusual birds-eye perspective it offers of Doñana.
